Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GLOBIVO Universal Trade LLC processes personal data when you use globivo.ae or contact us about a project.

1. Controller

GLOBIVO Universal Trade LLC, Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Website: https://globivo.ae. Email: info@globivo.ae. Phone: +971 56 183 1005.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the GLOBIVO website and related inquiry communications. Processing is governed primarily by UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. The EU General Data Protection Regulation may additionally apply where GLOBIVO offers services to individuals in the EU or EEA within its territorial scope; this does not mean that GLOBIVO has an establishment in the EU.

3. Personal data in contact inquiries

When you submit the contact form, we process your name, company, email address, country, requested service, project description, preferred timeframe and privacy confirmation. We also process information you provide by email or phone where necessary to handle your inquiry. The website_url field is a technical honeypot intended to remain empty and to reject automated abuse; it is not a regular category of information requested from visitors.

4. Technical server data

When the website is accessed, our Nginx web server may record standard technical data including IP address, date and time, requested path and request method, HTTP status, response size, browser or user-agent information and referrer. Contact request bodies and message content are not written to normal web-server or application logs. Server logs are rotated daily, retained for up to 14 rotations and compressed after the first rotation, subject to operational, security and legal needs.

5. Purposes of processing

We process data to provide the website technically, protect its security and prevent abuse, answer contact inquiries, prepare requested project discussions, communicate in connection with an inquiry, comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Legal grounds under UAE law

Processing is carried out in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. Where consent is legally required, we rely on valid consent and respect its withdrawal. Where the law provides an applicable exception, processing may also be necessary to take steps at the data subject's request before entering into a contract, to perform legal obligations, to protect rights or for other grounds expressly permitted by law. Consent is not treated as a universal legal ground.

7. Legal grounds under the GDPR where applicable

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on Article 6(1)(b) for steps requested before entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(f) for secure technical operation and abuse prevention where our legitimate interests are not overridden, and Article 6(1)(c) for applicable legal obligations. We rely on consent only for a specific processing activity that actually requires it.

8. Recipients and service providers

Access within GLOBIVO is limited to authorised persons who need it. Vultr provides web hosting and server infrastructure. AEserver provides the email and SMTP infrastructure for info@globivo.ae. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal data and do not name providers that are not used by this website.

9. International and cross-border processing

Technical service providers may process data in accordance with their infrastructure and service locations. We therefore do not state that all data remains exclusively in the UAE. Where data is transferred across borders, GLOBIVO applies the requirements and safeguards mandated by the law applicable to that transfer.

10. Retention

Contact inquiries are kept only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry, continue related business communication, comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Technical server logs are normally rotated daily and retained for up to 14 rotations; a longer or shorter period may apply where operational security, incident handling or legal duties require it.

11. Rights under UAE data protection law

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in UAE law, you may request information about processing, access or transfer of your data, correction of inaccurate data, erasure, restriction or cessation of processing, and object where applicable. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, exercise rights concerning automated processing and submit a complaint to the competent UAE Data Office or supervisory authority.

12. Rights in the EU and EEA

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent, without affecting prior lawful processing, and lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

13. Automated decisions and profiling

This website does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. It does not perform profiling.

14. Cookies and tracking

The current website does not use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar or LinkedIn tracking tags. It does not currently set non-essential cookies. If this changes, this policy and any required consent mechanism will be updated before such technology is used.

15. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature and risk of the processing, including restricted service access and controls intended to prevent abuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.

16. Children

The website is intended for companies and business contacts and is not specifically directed at children.
